- Wave menu page 1
- ----------------
-
- The wave menu deals with the reshaping of the voice waves and voice
- envelopes. Many set shapes can be drawn instantly from this menu.
-
- Make sine curve: Forms a plain sine curve with your set amplitude. Sine
- curves have pure flute qualities. Larger amplitudes tend to be softer and
- flatter sounding than small ones. Complex sine curves usually purify a
- sound.
-
- Make zero wave: Forms a flat silent curve to build onto at the height
- chosen by you. Complex zero waves can quieten or exagerate certain qualities
- of a sound.
-
- Make random wave: Forms a totally random wave. These waves are very harsh
- and brass-like. Complex random waves can give a voice more "brassiniess",
- because of its brash quality. A bias to a random wave can be set so that
- the wave is clustered nearer the top of the screen depending on the severity
- of your bias. A complex biased random wave can greatly change the sound of
- a previously 'pure' wave.
-
- Make hyperbolic wave: Forms an approxiamation of a hyperbola. These waves
- have string-like qualities. Complex hyperbolic waves stretch a wave to the
- corners of the screen, making a more string-like sound.
